We love to give our attendees an opportunity to learn something from the producers and wine makers. Join one of the cheese and wine making Classes and become a wine and cheese afiocionado in no time.
Please note that the Masterclasses are FREE and everyone is welcome to attend and try the wines and cheeses presented.

VIP Masterclass – 100 years of Wine – a Master Class of rare and amazing wines.Â
The VIP Masterclass is scheduled for 2pm at the VIP Room (not in the Masterclass Room). For over 50 years Mount Avoca has been growing grapes in the Victorian Pyrenees. Enjoy a selection of some of the best wines from Australia’s leading organic producer. From the owners private cellars, you will learn about the excitement of opening an old bottle and discovering what awaits within. Every bottle is different, and the flavours are a journey that is impossible to predict.
Join Matthew Barry as he takes you on this journey with a sense of fun. His unpretentious manner is a refreshing change from the stuffy tradition that sometimes accompanies “old wines”.Â
Always educational and fun, this is a chance to try some new and many quite old bottles at Wine and Cheese Fest – their combined age well in excess of 100 years.
Cheeses from some of our producers (TBA soon) will be available for pairing with each of the wines presented.
