Following the great success of past events, the Wine and Cheese Fest is returning to the Meat Market in North Melbourne on 2 April 2017.
Showcasing 40+ exhibitors, live entertainment, jazz bands, DJ’s, Grape Stomp Comp, Kids Zone, amazing heritage setting, this event has something for everyone!

How to get there?

The Meat Market in North Melbourne is located on 5 Blackwood Street and is easily accessible by many public transport options including trains, trams and busses. We encourage all attendees to use of public transport on the day . However, for the designated drivers, there are ample free and paid carparking options around the venue.

About Tickets

Tickets (including all fees) on sale at the following prices:

  • Entry Only + Festival Glass to keep = $20 online or $25 at the door
  • Entry + 5 Tokens (worth $10) + Festival Glass to keep = $30 online or $35 at the door
  • Entry + 10 Tokens (worth $20) + Festival Glass to keep = $35 online or $40 at the door
  • Entry + 20 Tokens (worth $40) + Festival Glass to keep = $45 online or $50 at the door

We generally sell 90% of the tickets online. We stop the online sales once the 90% capacity is reached to allow for door sales on the day. To avoid disappointments, purchase your tickets early.

Token system

To assist our festival exhibitors, we have created a token system where for each tasting the consumers provide a token worth $2 to the vendor. The tokens are redeemable for 30ml to 50ml of wine/cider piccolo glass or a cheese tasting. With this system, we want to ensure our festival vendors are reimbursed adequately for the effort. Tokens are available to be purchased as part of the tickets online (cheaper) or at the venue on the day. Consumers are welcome to opt for a full glass or bottle of wine or cheese platter at the festival to enjoy or take home.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

To consume or purchase alcohol you must be of legal age (18+). Children under 15 can enter the Festival for Free but must be accompained by a guardian of legal age AT ALL TIMES.

What can I bring into the event?

No food or drinks to be brought, or big animals and dogs. Smaller dogs shouldn’t be a problem if you must bring them.

What’s the refund policy?

We are happy to refund you up to 3 weeks before the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can bring the printed ticket but we will also have scanning option for digital tickets on mobile devices.

Can I update my registration information?
